What if forgiveness is only the beginning? | Matt Maiden

Man, wasn't worship so fun today? God's doing amazing things here.

I'm Pastor Matt, and I get to share the word with you today.

So excited about that.

It's such an honor to be up here.

You know, I was thinking this morning that Pastor Mike is in, my dad's in Malaysia ministering this morning.

Pastor George is in Edmonton, Canada at our sister church, Case Church, ministering this morning.

And we had a team of 15 under Pastor Essie just go to Africa that got back and heard it was amazing.

Next week, we're going to kind of share a video and highlights of what God did there.

And then this week, Pastor Daniel and I get to go to CFTN Romania.

And, yeah, it's going to be so awesome.

I say all that to say, you know, God is determined to make us a church for the nations.

not just in name, but in deed.

And there's something that God is stirring, and we're entering a sending season.

And I got this picture during worship of this church filled with young people, and they were holding torches.

And these were torches for the nations.

They were burning with passion for Jesus.

And there's something that God is beginning here, and it's specifically the young generation is gonna be lit with such a fire and passion, and God is gonna send us to the nations.

We're not just going to Romania as a cute mission trip.

We're going with the fire of the Holy Spirit.

We're going with the word of God, the sword of the Spirit.

We're going with the keys of the kingdom of heaven.

And we're believing that God is going to move mightily in Romania.

And we know God is up to something great in Phoenix, Arizona.

So get ready.

I would say get your passports ready if you don't have one.

And get your hearts burning for Jesus.

Amen.

Because going to the nations does nothing if we don't have fire.

But if we burn with passion for Jesus and we go for him, there's nothing that God can't do.

We live in such an exciting moment.

And this has nothing to do with my sermon, but I want to play a video.

So Pastor Aline and Ava are the pastors of CFTN Romania.

And they are amazing, amazing people, just wonderful people.

It's actually Mihai's brother.

And just amazing kingdom people serving God.

They are lighting a fire in Romania.

But they're trying to build a building because they've outgrown their space.

So for a couple years, I think it's been two or three years, they've been fundraising and they're moving towards that.

But I want to give you an opportunity to support CFT in Romania.

If God puts it on your heart, there's no pressure.

But if God speaks to you, puts something on your heart, I would love for us to just get behind them.

So we're going to play that video real quick.
