Well, to make it into the list, they need to be one of the fastest growing 100 small businesses in Dallas over the last three years.
It's a third party that takes the revenue numbers from all of the applicants and we get more than 250 applicants every year.
But you don't get to know the actual list of a 100 until the evening itself at the gala.
You know, absent looking at the list, although I have looked at the list, the knee-jerk is to think they're all going to be technology companies.
I think it's reflective of the broad base of industries that are successful here in Dallas.
What it represents is the long history of entrepreneurship, both associated with the region here in North Texas and SMU.
And it shows that any business can grow rapidly with the right amount of time, effort and focus.
And we're, for one, very grateful of all of the different applications that come through.
So, you know, whether or not you're a services business or you're healthcare focused or, as you said, technology, we embrace all of those entrepreneurs equally.
