There is a wage that each and every one of us have earned, and that's death.

When we violate God's law, okay, when we tell a lie, a fib, right, when we steal something, when we gossip about someone, when we look at a woman or a man with lustful thoughts or imaginations, when we respond in violence, when we are corrupt in our heart, whatever it is, if it violates the word of God, we have earned something.

We've earned a wage, right? Everyone loves to talk about minimum wage being increased in the Cook Islands.

And each and every one of us who have sinned, and how many people have sinned here? How many people have told a lie in this building? Yeah, if your hand is not up, you just told a lie.

You know, it might be something small like a pen or, you know, five bucks out of your mama's purse, whatever.

That's kind of like the lowest of the lows, but whatever big, small, in between, okay, we have all fallen short of God's perfect standard.

That means this, that we have earned a wage of And the Bible says in Romans chapter 6 that the wages of our sin is death.
