I've been having the best time.

So my daughter now has social media.

She's going into sophomore year.

I'm letting her have social media.

But what's been super fun on Instagram is that we just share reels with each other.

So...

Which is funny because then it shifts your algorithm.

So whatever she's into and she's sharing with me, I'm sharing with her.

So like for a while we were sharing like Disney reels because we were going on a family vacation.

But then we started sharing all these amazing Instagram religious sisters.

And, but we started to realize we were not the only people doing this.

So now that we are at the end of summer, like this whole summer, the summer of 2026 is being called the nun, N-U-N, girl summer.

So instead of being like the hot girl summer or like all these awful trends on social media, there's this new, and I'm talking like half a million views on some of this stuff.

What? Of women.

Well, big shout out to our friends, the Dominican Sisters on Open Mic Podcast.

Right.

OK. Yeah.

So people are starting to watch like the real life of sisters talking to each other, which we in Catholic schools like does not amaze us because we're like, well, yeah, these are these are sisters talking to each other who are, of course, brilliant and, of course, spiritual and, of course, good role models and, of course, giving good advice.

Like I'm not surprised that their podcast is taking off.

I'm grateful for it, though, because now we have a whole era of.

of teenage girls replicating what's going on.

So now you're seeing all these other religious orders, other sisters.

So you saw it in World Cup soccer stuff, and you saw it in Even like some of the basketball finals, just sisters engaging with the public in a way that I think a generation ago, like my mom would say, she knew all kinds of religious sisters.

Me, mid-career, and now my teenage daughter has not had a lot of exposure to the religious life.

But what's funny is like, it's bringing all this attention to young women.
