Capt. Marty's Outer Banks Fishing Report & Stories
Oct 9, 2026 · 9 min · 11 segments
Happy Friday everyone! We do have some weather on the way for the weekend but we have had some good fishing over the last few days. Hopefully it sticks around after the weekend but we will see!
I saw my friend Steve Culture, his boat is called the Sea Creature, and, uh, they had, they had some people that came all the way from Iowa, and they came wanting to catch some mahi, and they wanted to catch wahoo.
They're still catching good, good catches of, of mahi or dolphin, which is what they call them.
All in all, they've been doing pretty well, but that's probably getting ready to come to a halt today.
Mostly blackfin tuna, and they were a good class of blackfin tuna, 20 to 25 pounds a piece.
But just like I was talking about for the Hatteras folks, these things are all gonna start moving south.
