Ep. 120 | Justin “JuJu” DeCosta on becoming the voice of RIFC, PC Athletics & more

Was Tolman D2 during your time in high school?

D2 hoops, yeah.

I

think...

So you started your junior year, you said, right? That's when you kind of started to pick up the mic.

I think...

So when I was a freshman and sophomore, we were D2.

I definitely played at Tolman.

But I don't remember you being there, but now you kind of make it make sense where you started junior year and that's when it kind of picked up a little bit.

But I definitely played at Tolman a few times during my freshman and sophomore year.

Then we dropped down and we went back up.

But...

And especially when you're that young, it's tough to find a voice.

And we'll get into that later as well, how you really, truly found your voice and how all the reps help.

But just finding that passion so young is huge.

And being around sports.

And playing those sports and continuing that is big as well.

But again, when you graduated, continued that passion at CCRI.

So the experience from building up social media at Tolman transferred over to CCRI as well.

What were the types of people that you got in contact with there to kind of leave the same impact and impression you did at Tolman and keep doing what you were doing at the college level?
