And for you to bring your love for the game into what you do now, being the owner of Hoop House R.I., MJR Training, all the stuff that you've worked for.
And it's the timing is insane, too, how quickly stuff has happened, but how much hours you put into it.
in college basketball can you tell me that wake up moment for you when you realized that you wanted to take training to the next level after you were done playing
so once I was done playing I said to myself I cannot walk away from basketball like no way so I actually went and coached under an assistant coach I know Providence varsity under Fern and learned so much from him too you know we won two championships back to back over there which was cool we had I was there three years, but we had those two years that I was there.
And I, again, I learned that I love coaching and I loved being around the team, especially being so young.
I feel like you kind of had to balance it out with them because I was still, how old was I? 22, 23.
So it's like, they're looking at you and it's like, you know, you're kind of my age kind of thing.
Um, and I definitely learned that going into year two, but again, coaching was cool, learned a lot, but I always knew the behind the scenes work for me was like super like beneficial.
Um, And I actually had, you know, Jeremiah, Kyle Preet, that's playing at Rick now.
All these guys that, like, I still train to this day, you know, that played at the next level that I've been working with since their, like, freshman year of high school.
Even Jeremiah, when he scored his 1,000th point, like, that was a huge moment for me because I'm like, I know I had a small, small part of that for sure.
And when did the visions come to like making your own style of training and kind of making it your own and like taking for other people, but also making
yourself? It was just it kind of just happened, honestly, like I was coaching and then I'm like, you know what, like, let me just let me just kind of see where the training could get me.
