The Inside Scoop from a Marine Corps Drill Instructor

I mean, it happens, right? And a lot of people are like, oh, well, why do you make content on drill instructor stuff? You're not wearing the hat, let it go and whatnot.

These are the instances why, right? Not only that, are we building a community? Like, yes, we are not serving as a drill instructor making Marines, but in a certain sense, some of the content that we make, not only myself, but others, they still help out those people young guys that are trying to either go to become a marine you know either by jrotc parents right now they are like seeking help right like this past weekend we just saw a video posted of a mom you know posting the her son calling right that that first phone call is like hey i arrived and it's just dead silent and the mom is like

no It's scary.

We just let that silence sink in.

Like the moms or the dads are like processing, unless you're like you're a Marine parent, then you're like, he's about to get it.

But everyone else that doesn't not know what goes on.

And I always mention it like making Marines is making American hot dogs.

Like everyone loves American hot dogs, but the process like move is gruesome.

Right.

So for the parents, it's very scary.

Like what, what my kids are going through.

Right.

Yeah.

Aaron's like laughing about it.

He's

laughing because he's Air Force.

He knows.

And that's something like for me, like he left and went to boot camp.

And I was like, oh, you know, he's going to do his thing, whatever.

You know, I was expecting my second child.

And then when my son left to go to Marine boot camp, I'm like, I got this.

You know, my brother went.

Man, I didn't have it.

It's completely different because it was my kid, you know.

So you experience all of those things.
