Perhaps you have had the thought, maybe you say it out loud, Where did the last six months go, right? The 24 hours is 24 hours.

But what do you do with the 24 hours? What did you do with the week? What did you do with the month? What are you doing with the year? And here's the answer to that.

In a lot of cases, especially busy entrepreneurs and business owners, you spent it one unplanned hour at a time.

Now, look, I'm not suggesting real quick that you become a, what do you call it, you're enslaved to the calendar.

However, it will get filled up with non-strategic tasks that will be disguised as tasks if you don't control your calendar.

And so when you walk around and I had someone that was doing some repair work in my home, how are you doing? Oh, man, we're just, you know, gosh, can I know where the time goes? Well, I'm not the sharpest crown in the box, but I do know where it goes, and so do you.

It's when we're not structured and disciplined with what we're doing, that's where it makes it feel like, You know, the whole week went by and I don't even know what I got done.

Oftentimes, we don't notice until it's too late that we didn't actually achieve what it is that either A, we said we were going to or needed to achieve because we have become enslaved to the tyranny of the urgent.
