With a Nintendo Direct in June we have plenty of games to talk about this month! Fire Emblem, Xenoblade and Zelda were all present, but there's a buncha other stories to cover from late Mario Kart…
And before we get to the big one, there was an Xbox showcase just after we recorded our last monthly podcast.
Not a whole lot, really, that we can go into, but they did reveal Persona 6 is confirmed, which is good to know.
it's one of those ones where they just show a title and don't do anything else though and it's like well there's not really much to get excited by just a title drop like we all knew it was coming right it's kind of obvious at this point
yeah i i mean it's cool that they're finally like done said something about it because it's been a thing people have been wondering about for ages um the the logo is very odd i can't remember what i mean to clarify it because of the timing of this this all happened pretty much a month ago so it's kind of like it's a bit of a whiplash in terms of stuff that we talked about as it was happening and then now it's coming back to us But the Persona 6 logo, like it's almost got this radioactive vibe around it.
The trailer itself was weird as hell, but also at the same time, the Persona 5 trailer, I think was like a bunch of chairs or something weird.
So it doesn't really tell you anything.
But the logo's odd.
It almost, like, the build up to it almost gave more of, like, a horror kind of vibe in a slight way.
Or, like, some spookiness sort of around it, which who knows what their gimmick is with this one.
Maybe it's leaning towards that in some capacity.
But, um...
Again, like you say, it's cool to see.
They've pretty much been stuck on Persona 5 and related spin-offs for like a decade at this point.
So it is good to know they're moving on.
But there's not really too much to say before they reveal actual gameplay or at least cutscenes.
But we sort of covered that one.
