Jason chats with Emily Vincent.
If it's okay with you, I thought I would give a little more Grand Con wrap-up because we recorded Saturday night.
Sunday turned out to be another good day.
It was our lowest day of sales, which was a little surprising only because...
So Grand Con is a play con, right? We talk about selling cons versus playing con.
It is a playing con, as evidenced by the fact that I mentioned in the episode, when you get the running of the bulls in the beginning and those doors open, everyone runs to the board game library to get the game they want, which is cool, right? But there were quite a few people that said, I'm going to be back on Sunday.
And they came back.
I was hoping for some additional, but we still had a really good day.
We made maybe 10% less than we did on the other day.
So it wasn't a big, it was, it was pretty close to day one.
Day two was by far our best day.
Yeah.
But, like, overall it went really well.
I think we will probably do it again next year.
I learned a bit about the type of games we should bring there.
Meaning that, like...
the thing that sold the best was our, we have a great deal on all five of the trifold games, which is, you know, they're five bucks a piece.
And then there's a little journal that's $5.
Um, that's a blank journal you can use with them because they don't,
they don't have space to write in them.
Um, and so that would be $30 for all of those.
We charge 20 bucks for that.
And when people hear $30, but it'll only cost you 20, um, for anyone that had any interest, that was a pretty quick buy.
Yeah.
