Jason chats with Rosco Schock.
Rosco SchockGuestJasonHostAll I've been doing is working on these files.
I, uh...
You know, everything has actually went pretty smoothly.
Um, I've been working with Greener Printer to print the, the trifold game series and also Owen knowing that I'm using Mixam to print the, um, to print the journal games.
Um, and so Mixam was pretty easy to work with.
Greener Printer is fantastic, man.
Like any questions I've had, they are on top of it, like just like jumping right back and responding and being super helpful.
Um, I called because, um, they had sent back the die line cuts for like the proofs for all five journal...
I mean, all five of the trifold games, and they slightly were mismatched.
And I'd stayed within the safe zone so it wasn't affecting anything, but the size of each panel, which are technically four by four by four, right, were slightly off.
And my wife and I were looking at it and I said, "I think it's probably because of the fold." Like it's, it's made for the crease to insert inside, right? So that when you fold the third flap, it fits inside without bowing, right? Um, does that make sense?
So it's, it's m- slightly shorter.
Um, and again, I followed all the rules with the safe zones and stuff, so it was fine.
But, um, but I got nervous, so I, I reached out to them and said, "Is this what's going on?" They said, "Yep, 100%." But the guy was like, "I don't know." It was just the customer service guy.
He's like, "Let me call the pre-press people." And he called me back within 10 minutes and was like, "You're good.
This is what it's supposed to look like." He said, "I'm looking at your files.
Nothing is cut off.
Everything looks fine." Um, yeah, so that was amazing.
Uh, I'm working with Pack Lane to do the boxes for "A Life in Three Words," which is the card game we designed.
Um, and they're...
I'm confident their product is gonna be great.
Their customer service, uh, has not been as helpful.
