And there were even some times when I felt like God was disappointed in me.

And that anything that I did or that it just like would not be enough.

And it's taken me a minute, but unraveling like disappointment and how it's really just like a protection mechanism and how God, he doesn't get disappointed.

Like you can't disappoint him.

That's not a character trait that he possesses.

So is the fear of disappointment worth the cost of you not fully going after the life that you want? After the things of your heart, the deepest desires, is the fear of disappointment worth the cost of not going out and creating the life that you want? Like truly sit with that because you can go out and you can go create your dreams and you can chase God and you can love him and you can go just find your passion, your purpose and the things that excite you and the things that you love and go live life.

And also, Know that like, okay, yeah, will there be a chance that sometimes I will be disappointed? For sure.

Like, we're not in like this perfect world all the time.

Not everything goes around perfectly.

But is it really worth the cost of not going after your dreams because of that fear? And what is it costing you? The life that you could have lived? Also procrastination, there's that whole quote of procrastination is you giving up the life that you could have lived sooner.

You can have what you want and what God wants for you when you're willing to just go after it and be okay with being disappointed, but you expect the absolute best case scenario.

I really want to talk about on this episode of how to be so delusionally optimistic in your life that you just expect that every single thing is going to work out exactly how it's meant to, exactly how it's supposed to, and that your future is going to be better than your expectations, than the things that you think are going to happen, and And everything that you have coming for you, what if it's better than you can even possibly imagine or expect or love? That God, he's like, okay, I know my daughter.

I know the desires of her heart.

And I just want to like 10x fold what she thinks I'm going to do with her life.

Like I just want to blow her mind and I just want to like make her smile and giggle and like that she doesn't even realize how much I've been behind the scenes working on her behalf trying to like move things around working overtime and being able to just surprise you and love you and just get you so excited.
