You know what it's for? What's the holiday for? It's just another tax on businesses.
Do you think all these days that we have are just politicians trying to get votes over the years by giving a day to people? Yeah, it's a disaster.
What if they just said employers don't have to pay? I guess then people would want to work, right? If the government said you don't have to pay because you have to pay your employees now, right? What if the government said we're going to have these holidays, but you don't have to pay your employees? There would be no holidays.
Both hard workers, but very different mindsets, right? Oh, they had different finances from each other? No, my dad didn't, but everybody that he worked with.
This is probably one of the reasons where his job was very hard on him because he grew up as a Dutch immigrant, like as a young kid coming.
And his father basically, I think, was doing concrete and stuff, right? In the 50s and 60s.
