Brooks opens the Fantastic Faith Over Fear edition sick, caffeinated, and already arguing. A listener liked Mark Tedford’s take that tariffs can’t be swung like a political baton. Business wants a…
Well, um, where should we start? Did you guys, did you guys, uh, listen to the Mark Tedford interview I did on, uh, whatever day that was? Was that Wednesday? I had a, I had somebody write in, uh, text it in, that they liked the interview.
They liked what he had to say about the tariffs, um, that, that, you know, you can't use them as a political baton.
Bam.
You can't just whack people over the head with your tariffs because you're pissed at them, and they're bad, bad, bad, bad.
I'm gonna tariff you.
No, 'cause it's, 'cause business, and, and this guy's a business guy.
Successful business guy, may I add.
And business, not that I know [chuckles] very much about business.

And, you know, the, the big businesses out there, the stock and the this and that, they, they like to-- They don't like unpredictability.
The markets doesn't like unpredictability.
They like to know what's happening, who's doing what, so they can plan and scheme and do.
And the tariffs are not like that.
They're on one day and off one day, and it's kind of this, kind of that.
I, I mean, it's brought in a lot of money supposedly and all that.
That sounds great to me.
But, but the listener thought that was great, that was a good position.
And I've, I've read somewhere that Mr. Tedford is a little more moderate than some of the right-wing MAGA crazy people like you know who.
But, uh, but he's a good guy and he's gonna win hands down, uh, his little race over there.
No, no doubt about that.
