Localized HR-Positive Breast Cancer — Year in Review Series on Relevant New Datasets and Advances

Good afternoon, everyone.

I'm Neil Love from Research to Practice, and welcome back to Year in Review.

As today, we talk about key presentations and publications in the past year in the management of localized hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.

We have a great faculty today, Dr. Hal Burstein from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, and Dr. Joyce O'Shaughnessy from the Sarah Cannon Research Institute.

She's located in Dallas, Texas.

Tonight, we're gonna focus on localized hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.

As always, we may very well, and we will be actually discussing the use of unapproved agents and regimens.

As with all of our Year in Review programs, I met separately with both of our faculty when they recorded a presentation reviewing the details of the papers that we're gonna talk about tonight.

Uh, we really see this as a three-part program.

Tonight, we're gonna get more into the interpretation of the trial.

We're not gonna get into a lot of slides and a lot of details of the papers, but maybe more where-- And these are the papers that are discussed.

Uh, and, um, well, tonight, we're gonna talk more about clinical implications and also research implications in terms of where we're going.
