And, and, and I'll give you, I'll give you an example.
So, so one of the pieces that, that I really enjoyed that I, I guarantee you I will use over and over again now-
... is, is the inchworm analogy.
And, and I've said on this podcast, I've, I've had days on the golf course where I'll come on here and say, like, "I really didn't have good stuff today.
Couldn't drive, couldn't hit approach shots, couldn't pitch, couldn't chip, couldn't putt," but I, I still shot a 95.
And a year ago, that would've been 105.
So th- from an inchworm perspective, right? And, and you know what I'm talking about now.
I didn't really know how to put that into term, but, but basically my C game, the, the, the back of the inchworm was catching up, right? It was, it was moving up to the front.
And it was really interesting just for me to, to read that and think about my golf game differently.
That, that there is an A game and there, and there is a C game.
And, and there's benefit to that, that I've worked on a lot of these things that, that cause doubles and triples and penalty strokes and things that, again, m-mean shooting 105 instead of shooting 95.
But the inchworm analogy gave me a new perspective and, and a new way to, to look at my golf game and, and I guess think about, okay, now, now let's talk about the A game, right? Has, has the front of the inchworm moved forward? I moved the back up to the front, but now can I move the front forward? So-
And a lot of, a lot of golfers struggle because their gap between their A game and their C game is too wide.
Their best feels like a slippery slope, right? Kind of a razor thin edge, like you're just sort of one shot away from having, you know, the train wreck.
Right.
And, and that changes when you truly kind of move that C game, move your worst forward.
And, and I'll, I'll say, and, and the, the book is called Everyday Golf Psychology: Practical Advice for Golfers at Every Level.
