Sep 2, 2026 · 33 min · 9 segments
Frank weighs in on the storm surrounding Good Good golf and Calloway. Then he tries to find a window in a bad weather weekend to get out and play golf. The PGA tour season wraps up and it's another…
Where to begin? In January of 2024, as my journey began, I bought a new set of golf clubs.
Went to Edwin Watts Golf Shop, got fitted, and ultimately walked away with Callaway Paradigm Irons and Woods.
They've served me well and have seen a lot of action.
I've played about 220 rounds with these clubs, and not surprisingly, they've begun to show some wear.
I've been the hardest on the clubs I use the most, which are my wedges, nine iron, eight iron, and seven iron.
In addition to seeing wear on the face of those clubs, the Callaway logos have begun to come loose.
They sit in indentations on the back of the club head.
The worst was my sand wedge, where the logo was becoming a weapon.
a thin piece of metal peeling away and with some very sharp edges.
I reached into my bag for a different club last weekend and grazed the piece of metal, finding out just how sharp it was as I opened a nice little cut on my finger.
Honestly, that was my fault.
I knew it was becoming a problem, but was too lazy to fix it and paid the price.
So after my round of golf, I went home and rummaged through the garage looking for a few small clamps and some super glue.
I found the clamps and a bottle of super glue that had expired many years ago.
The liquid inside was now a solid.
My wife had stumbled upon me as I explained my project.
She said she was planning on shopping the next day and would pick up the glue.
Not only did she pick up the glue, but by the time I got home from work, the club was laying across the kitchen table with the small clamps holding down the razor sharp Callaway logo.
Why does any of this matter? Well, because without the golf club repair, my wife would have no idea what brand of golf clubs I played.
And why does that matter? Because the next day when I came home, my wife, who had so kindly fixed my golf club, started our how was your day conversation with, you need to buy new golf clubs and you're not allowed to watch Good Good anymore.
It was an interesting conversation starter, which of course led me to say, what are you talking about? She explained, and it took me a few minutes on YouTube to catch up, but here's what happened.
I believe they now have about 2 million followers and have grown into much more than content creation.
They have a line of clothing, a tie-in to Callaway Golf, they sponsor professional golfers, we're planning this year to sponsor a PGA tournament event, and we're bringing back the big break with the Golf Channel.
