So you want to get us started with our number 50 prospect?
Number 50 is probably the most upset I've been this year over a prospect because the potential of this kid is insanely high and he just hasn't gotten to show it.
All we have is stats last year for Angel Carmona coming in at number 50, who was a international draft signing last season, last session, not this year.
And in his first year, he hit .253 with a .374 on base and a .453 slug.
In 20 games, he put up nine extra base hits and two home runs.
He's a 6'2 shortstop that has a ton of power and just finding him a chance to show it this year because he lost the whole year over visa issues.
Yeah, really big kid.
I mean, honestly, I'm excited to see him come stateside next year because he should be getting, you know, some really good at bats over in the FCL very quickly.
I mean, he's already 18 years old and he'll be 19 here next month.
So he'll be a little bit old for the DSL and hoping that he can make his stateside debut next year coming to the Florida Complex League.
But, yeah, he, you know, the numbers that he put up in 2025 as a 17-year-old, two homers, 10 ribbies, four stolen bases.
You know, he looked the part.
Big, big shortstop.
I mean, from everything, the reports that we get, he can stick there at shortstop.
So, you know, we're excited to see him.
But, unfortunately, some of these guys, you know, we're not going to have a ton of footage to be able to see how they play and stuff like that.
Anyway, we're going to be moving on.
Ryan, before we move on, did you have anything else you wanted to add on Angel Carmona? No, sir.
So next at 49, we're going to have Tanner Smith, a catcher who played at two levels last year between Augusta and Rome.
He hit 11 doubles with 13 homers, 38 ribbies.
He had 28 walks, 108Ks, only hit 218 with a 300 on-base percentage, a 425 slug, and a 725 OPS.
Tanner Smith is one of those power catchers that you see.
I mean, he's a big kid, too.
He's listed at 6'200", but he hits the ball hard.
That's going to be his offensive profile.
