Um, there are ways to save some cost, but at the end of the day, the stamps are the most expensive part of that.
So when you go to a postcard-writing party and there's a jar on the table, please make sure you put some money into it, because the person has bought all of the materials on their own.
If somebody goes to a postcard-writing party, how much money should they typically put in the donation jar to help cover the cost of the postcards, the stamps, any other supplies?
Um, different people do it differently, so people will ask, uh, a different amount.
You have to keep the, the cost of the stamps in mind.
A lot of people understand that because it's all volunteer effort- Um, and the people who do run these kinds of events tend to cover the cost for everybody who walks in the door, whether or not they can afford it.
So it's always a good idea to give a little bit more to cover it for those people who cannot afford to do it, um, on their own.
