Brittany McNabbGuestSianHostAnd then just quickly before we kinda go into your backstory, um, so personal training and then all of the sort of psychology and behavior change, all the stuff underneath that.
So you have a reset program or a program that you take people through.
Can you explain a little bit about that program or how you're working with people so that when we sort of tell your story they sort of understand, like, what's underneath all of that?

I, I think my reset program is very unique in the sense that I'm ultimately helping people create behavior change and move towards the goals that, you know, they've kind of lost hope, or they feel a little bit stuck, or they're starting to spiral into almost demotivation and feeling like it's not possible.

I think a lot of the fitness and wellness industry spends a lot of time fluffing above the iceberg, you know, with the things like the habits and add this and do that.

But ultimately, we need to go beneath the surface into our identity, who we believe we are, what we believe we're capable of and aren't capable of.

Um, whether our nervous system and our body actually has the bandwidth to hold change and to hold growth.

Um, and then I do a lot of education surrounding, uh, common myths that tend to keep people stuck and trip them up.

I, I really believe in what I call education-backed freedom, and it's not hurling more information at people.

Like, we are the most informed generation ever, but my observation is that I have never seen so many women feeling so stuck, so paralyzed.

And ultimately what people need is they need information that's delivered in a way that allows them to grab hold of it and make sense of it, but actually integrate that knowing and alchemize and transform it into action.

Like, how can we take this absolute, like, floodgate of information that is ultimately overstimulating us and making us more paralyzed? How can we break this down and decide, all right, cool, which piece are we gonna take and integrate into motion?
You know, online I see all of the stuff around, like, macros and, you know, eating 100 grams of protein or, I think I told you about this, but all of the plates where there's, like, chicken and tofu and cottage cheese and all of this stuff.
And while it's great, like if someone is worrying about macros right now, why does that sort of like...
Yes, it matters, but why does it not matter if you're not linking it to the stuff that's below the iceberg?

I think, um, the issue is is that, and this is the issue that spans across a whole, you know, this is not just specific to macros, but it's that people end up in this state where they're trying to control things to actually manage all of the feelings that are simmering beneath the surface.

And I think food becomes a very alluring way to gain back a feeling of power when we feel really powerless.
