We kick off this week with our breakdown of the Grand Theft Auto VI: Extended Look on Netflix and our favorite reveals from Gamescom 2026—including Final Fantasy VII: Revelation, Rainbow Six Tactics…
I was able to watch it on Netflix cause I don't, I don't subscribe to many streaming services except for YouTube premium, which this should be an ad for, um, the game it showed.
It was like, um, they cut together some of the cut scenes with like slices of gameplay for certain missions and didn't play it all the way through, just created like a montage together of all of the gameplay happening.
Just like it was, it was cut scenes and, uh, gameplay that some of like the camera switching, uh, I don't think that's in the game unless those were like checkpoints, basically.
Like if that was where you would get to a mission to a certain point and the game would do the auto save and it would do that cut scene.
So usually when it's like a certain section, like a part of the level that's loaded and there's the different enemies that you shoot, say if you're in like a certain area that like three enemies have spawned and they're coming out of like the side rooms and stuff, after you killed, once you killed the last one, so the last one standing, the camera kind of shifts and switches to a close-up of the guy getting the last shot and dying, falling down.
Like they had lots of like detailed environments and assets and like voice acting and just like this rich, rich world that you want to explore and just like look at every detail and end up getting shot.
Right from the get-go when I was watching it, I'm like, this is 30 frames per second.
