Today I'm going to cover the myth of the winged soul, also known as the myth of the tripartite soul, as found in Plato's dialogue, Phaedrus.

I'm going to look at a particular portion of this Phaedrus dialogue where Plato utilizes this myth to talk about things like love, desire, education, and the soul.

I then want to tie that together with direction, which is my single thread through this entire reading project.

So I'll get into that a little bit later of what it means that those ideas tie together.

And then I want to close by providing Plato's definition of love.
