So I've been on this journey now where I've, the decision, the big decision for me happened, I think, just over 18 months ago when I decided this is the problem, that I want to invest-
... you know, the rest of my career in not solving, I'm not that naive, but in, um, tackling to some extent or another.
And the whole of the last 18 months has been a process and a journey that I've been on to just throw the doors open-
... who is worried about this, is in a potential position of leadership or power to, to kickstart conversations at a high level.
And there are a number of very gratifying and, I think, hopeful things happening at the same time at the moment.
And, you know, my question has always been where do I fit in? How can I best contribute to all these various different things that are going on?
Um, and you know, there were, there's grassroots campaigning that's happened, um, and some fabulous work being done by people like Smartphone Free Childhood-
Um, and there's then also the legislative work that's happening partly through campaigners to look at social media and age restrictions and, um, you know, more regulation around the nature of some of the addictive design features that are within there.
Those conversations have been going into the House of Commons and sharing some of the research and work that I've been doing.
