We have officially been invited to Blizzcon! So naturally... we barely talk about Hearthstone this week! We do talk about Stormraige's terrible not so good really bad Battlegrounds game, we talk about…
Normally, we use a cold open as either a place for jokes or a place of serious political commentary to have a divide between.
And this is going to be neither of those ideas, nor is it going to be something serious from myself, necessarily.
Uh, in extremely wonderful news, we, uh, Blizzlet got gifted from Blizzard, uh, media badges for BlizzCon.
So all three of us are going to be able to go to BlizzCon and we're going to have media badges, which will give us a couple, uh, some access to some important things.
I'm going to be able to, we are going to be able to record live podcasts at blizzcon uh they're going to have like rooms for podcasters and streamers to do videos and things supposedly hopefully fingers crossed and so there is just uh one i'm extremely extremely grateful for the opportunity uh two it it's kind of a surreal moment Because for me, and I know this sounds dumb because of the many problematic issues and the many ways that Blizzard has evolved and the history and a lot of other things.
But to me, Blizzard has always been my touchstone for where I got involved with gaming.
And when I originally created this podcast, I told myself that one of these days...
I was very convinced that it was certainly not deserved and that there were better people.
And all of these things are still admittedly in my brain that I am thinking as I am saying this all out loud.
So surreal to be involved in a company that has meant so much to be able to go with two of my very best friends to an event that I care about so much and to have had all of this time and experience.
energy and money and blood and sweat and tears that all of us have put into this podcast and be able to say, hey, it led somewhere.
I just wanted to thank you guys for being here all the fucking time and making this podcast something worth listening to.
