I personally have been consuming all the Elizabeth Holmes content leading up to this, including reading John Kerry's Bad Blood and listening to the Dropout podcast during her trial and really reminding myself about all of the things that I knew back when this case was first in the media.

But I think if you watch this movie as a standalone, you almost can forget all of that because she almost seems like No way that woman could have committed a crime that required an intense amount of intelligence.

mean, I think she's definitely trying to portray herself as someone who doesn't understand the world around her.

But there is sort of an interesting question that this movie raised for me about, I don't know, is Elizabeth Holmes absolutely diabolical? Which I think is Eliza's opinion.

Or is there something else going on? You know, one of the things that we'll talk about today is, or is she somebody who is just incredibly easily manipulated by men? And I don't know if that's the message she was trying to send in this movie.

That's certainly the message she tried to send at her trial about her first relationship with her, you know, co-defendant, Sonny Balwani.

But again, You do walk away from this movie feeling she might be a victim of her current partner, Billy.
