Have you noticed a difference between how men and women handle rejection on Love Island?

I mean, women are just, I think, more emotionally mature in general.

So true.

I don't like when I see women going after one guy, because I always feel like, does this guy deserve that? But I love when the men are, you know, working hard to prove themselves so that the women are picking them.

The guys, when they get rejected, I feel like they kind of just give up.

But then they're always fine, I don't know.

But it's like,

don't give up.

You should just be getting to know people.

What do they say, rejection is redirection or something? Totally, rejection is redirection.

When I watch the show, I really do think a lot about gender roles.

Has it taught you personally anything about gender roles? Or is there anything that you feel like is so prevalent on the show? It is

very much gendered.

It is very binary in that.

And I always feel like I'd love to see it break out of that.

And I don't know how it will, but I would love to see that.

Even though it is so gendered, it is so binary, one thing that I really enjoy is when someone decides they wanna stay single or they wanna choose themselves.

And I also love that even within all of that, the show remains very sex positive.

There's not, like, slut shaming going on, like, within the walls of the show.

The audience needs to wash their mouths.

But I think when the women are able to, like, take charge and say, you know, I want to do what I want to do, like, I do respect that.

You know what I want? What? Say it.

I want someone to choose the money.
