So we're going to start with Melvin Mike, doorstep of the regular season.

You just lost your best offensive lineman to a broken finger.

What the hell happened there?

Yeah, so he had some ligament damage from last year and they've been trying to see if it would hold up and it had been fine through training camp.

But in the second last pad of practice before the regular season, he damaged it again and they decided better to get the surgery now, be out for six weeks in the early part of the season and then come back.

Fortunately, we have a talented backup who is not Smith, but he's not bad.

So he will be able to step in.

And he did play quite a lot of guard last year due to the number of injuries that we had.

So he's not playing his first game.

But it's not exactly ideal at the start of the season to lose your best offensive line.

He's not just your best offensive line.

He would rank in the top offensive lineman in the league.

I mean, he is a good one.

But who do you play week one again?

We've got the Giants.

So we should be okay there.

We've got Washington week two, but then we go to Brazil to play Baltimore in week three, and that one's going to hurt to not have your best O-lineman holding the way for Javante Smith to gallop free.

So we'll see how we go.

We just have to hope that it is only the five to six weeks and it doesn't impact us too much.

I feel like you guys have opened up with the New York Giants on a number of occasions, and you wax them every single time.

They're never close games.

Yeah, Dak has lost once to them, and that was a bit of a fluky game in his rookie year.

Otherwise, he's beaten them every single time he's played them, and by usually double digits.
