What happens when the internet creates a monster… and then people start claiming they’ve actually seen it?This week on Beyond The Shadows Podcast, Victus and Hazel investigate The Rake, one of the most recognizable creatures ever to emerge from internet horror. A pale, hairless humanoid with unnaturally long limbs, The Rake supposedly crawls through forests, appears along lonely roads, and—perhaps most terrifying of all—has a habit of showing up at the foot of your bed.But unlike Bigfoot, Mothman, or other legendary cryptids, The Rake has a major problem: we can trace its story back to the internet. The recognizable mythology was circulating by 2006, complete with supposedly historical encounters reaching back centuries. So why did people begin reporting real-world encounters with creatures that look almost exactly like it?Tonight we're digging into the origins of The Rake, the original creepypasta, the alleged historical accounts, famous photos and videos, pale crawler sightings, sleep paralysis, hoaxes, misidentified animals—and the possibility that sometimes we don't discover monsters.Sometimes we invent them.🔴 Beyond The Shadows Podcast — LIVE, ONE TAKE, NO EDITSJoin us in the chat and tell us what you think:Is The Rake just an internet creation, or could the stories of pale humanoids point toward something we haven't explained?#TheRake #Creepypasta #Cryptid #PaleCrawler #Paranormal #UrbanLegend #ScaryStories #Horror #Unexplained #Cryptids #InternetMystery #BeyondTheShadowsPodcast
