I wanna spend a couple of minutes on my reflections about that notion, that concept, right? I keep hearing versions of the same truth over and over again in different ways from people, whether they had kids or didn't, whether they were happily married or had been through a couple of rocky relationships with their partners, whether they were single and still searching, whether they had multimillion dollar businesses, whether they were just left something and were in that in-between space where they were trying to figure out their next move.

It's not going to ask you for permission, whether that's a loss, whether that's financially or emotionally or spiritually it's whether it's a betrayal, whether it's burnout, or in my case, when I had my significant, you know, medical, um, detonation, if you will, that caused me to redefine success, whether it's an unexpected reinvention, right? You just, you just wanted something different.

I feel after all of these conversations really comes down to two things, community and courage.

The courage it takes to stand in the pocket of that hurricane, whatever's happening in your life right now, whether it's...

There is no way in hell you would take my recommendation and go let that person cut you open and perform that surgery.

Why would you go for a five? And yet many of us are living a five life, a status quo existence.

And so part of the challenge is, part of the courage it takes when you are in status quo, when you are living at a five, and it's not horrible, but it's not excellent.

Where does that fire come from to move the needle closer to a better version of not only yourself, but a better version of your life? And that's where the rubber meets the road, right? And our guests have sort of shared that.

And so what I've also learned from them is that many of us, myself included, many of them, their version of what success meant, what the metric of success in their life has meant has been handed to us by someone else.

And many times it's very materialistic, right? Like it's the salary, it's the title, it's the corner office, had all of those.

And Another badge of honor I've heard is how busy people are, how together we look on the outside.
