You spent decades becoming successful. Now what are you going to do with all of it? We spend much of our lives accumulating: degrees, promotions, money, relationships, credentials, influence…
Stacey LucesHost
So what are we going to talk about today? Well, we're always talking about being successful, right? We're always something, creating something, growing something, scaling something.

Like I feel like anywhere I turn, people have all of these hacks for improvement, growth, more.

And one of the things that I like to challenge us in this environment, one is how do we redefine success in our own terms for the season of life that we're in? How do we lead better and more authentically and more courageously in our community? And how do we live in a way that suits us? and pays homage to all of the pain or whatever that we've been through in a way that sets us up for even more success, in a way that evolves us for the new season that we're entering.

And so today, I thought my topic would be kind of this concept of beyond achievement.

And so we're not just talking about money, contact everything, whether it's your experience, your access, your relationships.

Because at some point, the question changes from what can I achieve, if you've already achieved it, into what do I do with what I've achieved? And I think that in our lives, we're taught to accumulate more.

You know, it makes me so sad to watch some of these documentaries where it talks about all of the wastes to it, right? Whether it's clothing or food or anything like that.

So for some of us, it's multiple degrees, it's jobs, it's getting promoted, it's the house, the network, right? I'm as ambitious as probably more than the average person.

And this isn't an episode about pretending we're going to transcend ambition or It's about what happens if we think about ambition and then we think about the second act.

What happens after the first act? So if the first act is, can I get there? And you have.

And now that I'm here, now that you're there, what becomes par there? That's a very, I think, different question for us to mull over, right? So how do we do that? I want to take you back a little bit.
