Between 3 Witches - Witchcraft in plain sight
Aug 1, 2026 · 8 min · 8 segments
What if the animal that keeps appearing in your life isn’t there to give you a spiritual identity, but to begin a relationship? In this bonus *Word From the Witches* episode, Gayle, The Witch Next…
And nature isn't waiting to hand you an identity.
Nature is trying to teach us about the relationship.
So today I'm not gonna tell you what your spirit animal is.
I want to talk about how animals actually communicate with us and why we often miss those signs.
So why are we so fascinated by spirit animals? And I don't think this fascination is new, right? Humans have always looked at animals for meaning long before books, long before social media.
People watched birds to predict the weather.
Uh, we watched deer to understand the forest, and we watched wolves to understand what family dynamics looked like.
Animals weren't entertainment, they were teachers.
And now we've almost reversed that.
We want an answer immediately.
Like, what does seeing a fox mean? If I see a cow or a crow, what does that mean? But nature doesn't really work like Google, as we know.
Nature teaches us through observation, not through instant answers like we do on Google.
I've never heard anybody say, "I think my spirit animal is a pigeon," or, "A slug has been following me around," because we are always looking for the most magical animal to be our spirit guide, but nature's never really cared about glamour.
