Molly Mogren KattGuestTerry WhiteHostIt's really funny just that they're bad with money and chasing harebrained schemes.
yeah um so you mentioned other parents are you getting a sense from other parents that they are feeling the same anxiety that you are

uh yeah and you know there's a lot of different conversations happening you know parents who are looking at a school closure are very upset understandably um Parents, there's a lot of parents who, you know, maybe are like, like me, just sort of it's not like this potentially would like really change our pathway.

Um, but it's sort of like, I just don't, I don't trust, I don't trust this.

And then I do know some families who, and I will say they're being very quiet and that is okay.

I totally get it because maybe there are some slight tweaks to, um, school boundaries or things that would actually make the district, like maybe right now they live in what I would call like a big hemorrhaging point for the district.

A lot of the families in Kenwood, uh, Lowry Hill, those families have been, they were supposed to, you know, before the CDD, they were sending their kids to southwest and anthony and now they're supposed to be sending their kids to north high school and a lot of them are just like not haven't been really that into it so two of these options send their kids back to southwest so That, I think, would actually stop a lot of families hemorrhaging from the district in that area.

But like, it's sort of a thing where, well, this is good for my family, but I understand it's not good for everyone.
Well, you mentioned in there the, I think it was called the Comprehensive District.

So you remember boggle, right? You have all the letters and you shake it up and they've everything kind of stays contained in the same footprint but everything's kind of moved around
and so that that happened back in 2020 and I remember being very relieved because it didn't impact my household but I had a lot of other friends who were disappointed and then had to make what they ended up doing is they they didn't want to go to the school they were assigned so they And that's the only way they could get busing is if you went to the school you were assigned.
It's really funny just that they're bad with money and chasing harebrained schemes.
