Socceroos veteran Jackson Irvine chats to Aaron Bryans about making the move to Japan to play in the J League for Cerezo Osaka and learning the hard lessons about yellow cards.
There's so much football happening around the globe right now, given we've come out of an international break and most of the leagues are underway.
But all eyes are turning towards the Asian Cup, which is only a few months away.
The Socceroos are fresh out of their World Cup fixture, where they are certainly impressed in terms of the new look line-up that they had.
and also the ability that they got as far as they did to the round of 32 and to a penalty shootout with Egypt.
We got up at early hours to watch our boys try their best on the big stage, and they certainly did impress across multiple instances.
And the fallout of it now turns towards Saudi Arabia, where there's been a lot of political turmoil, but the Socceroos are certainly going to be in action and one of the favourites to try and win the whole thing there as well.

And the reason for that is that he's currently playing in the J League right now, is Jackson.
He's managed to move over from Bundesliga and now getting to experience what it's like in terms of the round ball game in Japan, which I'm sure has been absolutely enthralling, albeit he's got himself in a bit of trouble.
trouble with some bookings and referees, but yeah, it's been a lot of fun to see what he's been able to do as part of Cerezo Osaka.
