Mick, what would you say about the media? What would you say they get wrong or what's their misconception about these underground fire clubs? I don't think it's the

I have to... admit that it is violence by nature, but it's controlled, it's consensual.

But that being said, a lot of people... see it as something that it's too brutal and it's too rough and there's only certain types of people that will be drawn to that and that's thugs and boneheads and people that are fucking dense and it's primitive, whatever they want to think.

just they think back to the point about the misconception of me is I believe I don't know how other people perceive it but like who I believe who people that see me fight and they make a perception on the person I am and like we touched on earlier in the podcast is I don't like conflicts I'm anti-confrontational I don't like fighting in the fucking, the, the, what do you call it, the paradox to that is, I was raised fighting.

But this is not a, but it's also, it's also been a good release, a good way, you know, some people call it therapy.

You know, it's just that, something to let some, let energy out, the surplus of energy that you're holding in, let it out and it's in a controlled environment, it's all safe.

from my experience through the hooker tender and my experience through what we do at Bare Knuckle Australia, I can't speak for hooker tender for this one, but I can say for Bare Knuckle Australia personally, we we take a concerted effort to make sure that everyone is respectful and appreciative and and show show respect in in participating or fighting and we we um make a point to express that to the uh to the people that are sparring and yeah what what i don't like is when you're when you're booing someone else or putting their opponent down.

You can go for someone as much as you want, to all the energy you want to give it, but don't go against someone at all because that's poor sportmanship.
