You spent 77 days total in the dark, which I'm sure a lot of people listening don't even know what that is.

Ed, you essentially completely changed your life over the last 10 years from what it was.

You're here today, as we know you, I know you as someone only for a couple of years now, someone who leads men in a very unique way, I would say, in my opinion.

And at the same time, there's this really, I think, a very deep respect for each person too.

And you have other things that you created since your last dark retreat, which was last summer, I think, when I saw you nearly a year ago.

you before you turned 40 and there's you in the last decade now now 50 years old and the constant thread that i see in your writing and your website and what you bring to the world it's this freedom and sovereignty but underneath of that i'm just like trevor is fearless like He's fearless.

And I know that probably means you've stepped through many fears and you face your fears and you're not actually fearless.

But I'm really interested in how you went from your prior life and what that relationship to fear was, because it's just something that I see so clearly in you.

So how did you begin in that world of like facing your fears, being in fear? What was that like? to where you are now.
