I, I try to respond to sort of all parts of myself when, when somebody asks me that question because, you know, it's one of those questions going, "Hey, how are you?" "Oh, I'm fine, thanks.

How are you?" But stopping and taking the time to think about, you know, what does that mean? How am I doing? Um, you know, I tend to think that we work a little bit too hard.

You know, we, we have a few too many things on our plate and, you know, I tend to think that sometimes the universe just kind of tells us to slow down.

And so I had mentioned that we didn't get, uh, a contract that we were hoping for, but, you know, it's okay.

You know, w- w- we have to slow down and we have to take time to look after ourselves, and we have to spend time with our family and, you know, work isn't everything.

I told people that, you know, the downside of finding the miracle drug that, that changes my life is that I blew the retirement fund that, you know, I, I thought I had a year left to live so I was making memories with my family.

And now I'm gonna work till the day I die, and oh my God, Ben, it's like an amazing problem to have.

So yeah, I think part of the issue is that it's just a reminder that we don't need to always work.
I mean, whenever we do these podcasts, there's a sense of grounding that comes with it because like you said, it, it's, it's a race out there, you know, to work to balance with family, to balance with friends.
But to truly be present with people, you know, for this set amount of time, I don't know, there's just a peace that comes with it, you know, coming into this new season.
And yeah, I just really appreciate that because to be able to sit down and have genuine, authentic conversations with people, to learn, to grow, to evolve, you know, to experience life from another perspective, I'm eternally grateful for that, you know? And I'm also grateful for our guest.
