**The weight regain boundary problem** The Weight Ecosystem link I reference in the episode that can start your weight regain…
Bronwyn FletcherHost
When I started speaking to more and more women about weight regain, one of the things that became increasingly obvious was the inadequate explanation they had for the cause of it.

Solutions were fine because solutions tell you what to do, but an explanation connects you with what's causing the problem in the first place.

Most of them could tell me what they were eating or what diet they were following.

But when we moved beyond the I eat too much or I've got a sweet tooth explanation, the conversation would stall.

And this makes sense when for decades we've been told that weight regain is a food problem and the solution is to eat less, move more and use more discipline.

If someone is carrying excess weight, surely what they're eating needs investigation.

The first answer is not always the right answer, especially when the problem keeps repeating.
