So if you build your goals around trends, like what's popular right now, you will spend your entire life chasing somebody else's standard.

And I think we can look at the early 2000s, right? Like there was the heroin chic size zero, double zero, thigh gap, like Tumblr era era.

And so every woman was like trying to become the skinniest version of themselves that they could be, right? And then in the 2010s, it was like BBLs, like thick girls, you know, tiny waist, big glutes, thick was in.

And so then everybody started to do that, right? Like everybody was like, oh, I want, you know, big butt, all these curves.


Women are quite literally being expected to change their bodies every decade.

You need to build a body that serves your life, serves your goals, your health, your confidence, and isn't based on Instagram or social media in general or whatever's being pushed in front of us as like the new cool.

So the reason why I really wanted to talk about this is because it's become more and more prevalent in like my conversations that I've been having with my athletes, like thoughts that I've found myself having.

And I just find it more helpful to call it out and just put it on the table and talk about it.
