Are your clients receiving amazing treatments—but leaving without buying the skincare products you recommend? In this video, Wik Verma from EstiHQ explains why clients may not be purchasing your retail…
It's like one of the things I hear all the time is I don't want to sound pushy.
I don't want to sound salesy.
Wick, I don't want to be pushy, right? But the deal is, if you're not doing your job properly and sending them home with the retail, the products that they need to get to their goals, you're thinking, I don't want to be pushy, but you're pushing them, right? To think for themselves.
You're pushing them to Tikka Takka.
You're pushing them to Uwotuba.
So you are being pushy one way or the other.
Does that make sense? It does in my mind.
In my mind, that makes sense.
You may not see it that way, but I want you to think differently.
To become a six-figure esthetician and then some, you have to think differently.
You are always giving them an option.
right? You may not verbalize it, but you are giving them an option.
You're either, you know, you know, talking them into the retail, which is good for them based on what you've seen, based on the treatment you provided, based on what their goals are, right? So based on all that, you're like, okay, you know, I can give you a facial once a month.
However, you know, 80% of your results are going to come from the facials you give yourself every day in the morning, one in the morning, one in the night with this skincare product line.
Are you with me, right? So you are being pushy.
So let's go into a couple of things that I like.
I always like the analogy of, for example, a lot of the times I'll see the pictures in the group of someone's got some let's just say real thing, real bad things going on their skin.
And the people post a big, hey, this client came in, you know, what would you recommend? And a lot of the times the comments will be, hey, send them to a derm.
Hey, send them to a derm.
Don't try to treat it.
Send them to a derm.
Cool.
Let's just say that happened.
