What if happiness isn't what comes after success? Radiana's journey into the science of happiness began with one question: How can I excel without burning out? It eventually led her to build a…
So today we're going to talk a little bit about happiness.
And I'm so happy we're going to talk about this because I did some research, of course.
And the more I researched, the more I was confused and the more I was like, oh, my God, I need help.
Because I did research a little bit like online reading and so on, but also ask my friends and my family.
The goal was to have for me like a definition of what happiness is.
And it turns out there isn't one.
Everyone seems to have like a different definition of happiness.
I have friends who just had like a baby and their definition was completely different from what I was thinking.
You as well.
So you have some personal definition there.
Yeah.
Yes.
And then I have like some friends who don't have children, a little bit like me, but I have one who lives in Barcelona and one that lives in Northern Italy and they have like completely different definitions of happiness.
No children, no children.
So,
but still, you know, like it was like, oh my God, like it's true that probably there's no definition, but...
You tell me more, please.
I love how you researched and you asked around.
That's a very, very, very cool way to approach this.
You're right.
So happiness is subjective, right? At the end of the day, what makes you happy might not make me happy or the other way around.
There are people who love snowboarding and as we were chatting before we started like that's for us like maybe not our best joy you know source yet it's objective but if science had to put a definition to it and that's my favorite definition the one that I was teaching at Google the one that I teach in my workshops the one that I live by because by now it's like a way of living is this and it's very simple And I love that about it.
So it's just two things.
How good you feel in your life right now and how good you feel with your life overall.
So it's a mix of the pleasure, the emotions.
