I'm Freddy Bell here, and today, we have the opportunity to talk with Jason Ganahl, founder of GQ BBQ.
You know, when I was thinking about this, Denver is not the first place that I think of, and I think most people-- I can speak for our audience, that most people think about when they think about barbecue.
So I'm curious, right off the top, what made you believe that you could build something special in the Rocky Mountains?
Well, you share that opinion with pretty much everybody else that lives outside of Denver, Colorado.
I will tell you, living out here, and, and just being a, a connoisseur of barbecue, we've got seven or eight places here in Denver, and I eat barbecue everywhere I go.
I'd put the seven or eight places up against barbecue in any city, uh, across America.
And, and I grew up in St. Louis eating barbecue at a place called Bandana's, which is a- a regional spot.
