Oct 20, 2026 · 55 min · 9 segments
Jayme, Greg and Wendy are back for another episode of **Baketastica**, breaking down Episode 4 of *The Great British Baking Show*: **Bread Week**! The bakers face Paul Hollywood's specialty as they…
Ooh, this was a tough one.
And
Bread Week went about the way that we kind of, I don't want to say we expected, but we feared that it might.
Yeah, I feel like it was worse than the last few seasons.
It was awful.
Yes.
And hysterical to watch.
I know.
It was so funny.
Yeah.
It was a train wreck that I could not take my eyes off of.
I feel like Nigella was trying to, like, pump him up and was being very forgiving and trying to point out the good parts.
And Paul was just shaking his head in despair.
Literally, I don't...
I cannot think of an episode that we've recorded in the last couple years where... no bake had positive comments like from, from Paul.
Like there would always be one that he was like, Oh yeah, that was really good.
Or it was like, but everything was, everything was too tight.
Everything was either too cakey or not open enough or underproofed, underbaked or raw.
Yeah, the raw.
There was a lot of raw dough on this episode.
But yes, they talked about the flavors, but this was, I would say, the worst episode, I would agree.
I remember that technical that they just threw out.
But like Paul saying, this is the worst technical I've had in 17 years of doing this show.
I was like, you know, at least he could eat some of that one that everything was so bad.
