In Sweden we have now started with the new scoring system and it's awful. However, there are some differences that we can (and must) take advantage of. The main things are warm-up and variation…

I think it's maybe time for those people that are in charge that were deciding this and all the people that were voting for this, because not just BWF who is responsible.

But listen, when we talk about the issues with the sport... to imagine the solution being to change the game fundamentally is insane instead of actually trying to do something else firstly because they were gonna do changes to super 1000s which would have been really good so that the players would have more time to recover so it would be much more intense matches they could still recover to to do uh yeah to just play better for longer This is done but also at the same time they changed the scoring system which is absurd like they could have done so many different things they could also have like you know the first few matches in in a tournament is played to 15 when it's a lot of matches playing at the same time and then they would have 3 to 21 from like quarterfinals day or something but i'm not going to talk too much about what i think they should have been doing instead i think it's a disgrace that they try to ruin the sport because they think it's going to bring more money in like let's just look at tennis because Because that's something that's always done.

But what do they have? Well, in the big tournaments, they don't have five categories that people are playing.

There are sometimes only men's competitions and women's competitions, which means that they are, you know, even there we can separate or we can reduce the number of matches quite a lot.

And in tennis, they almost exclusively focus on the singles, like the doubles.

Not to be hard, like it's just what I've understood from tennis and it's why there aren't as much prize money in those categories.

So they're not playing like badminton where we play beside each other in the big halls.

instead they have like one or two courts where they have like during the first days where it's a really really where they have the big stands where it's a lot of people watching the first days but then you can have like really good players and good matches played almost without the crowds even at the big tournaments and then they have like the main court which is for later on in the tournament where it's just everyone is watching at one watching one match and And of course, in badminton, we have five categories.

However, the issue is that we need to have some understanding that, okay, tennis focuses on one category, which is singles.

So, it would have even been better to reduce the number of players allowed in the big tournaments to maybe 16 instead of 32 just to have the insane competitiveness but also that you can really market every match or like do the marketing for every match you can do something big with every match and um I just think there are so many things that we could have tried.
