Something that was interesting is that I really came into religion more so in my like late twenties.

And I am so thankful that my parents... were kind of just like use self-express and what feels right to you.

But really what happened is that in my later 20s, I think I became so curious to the point where asking all of these whys really led me down a path of wanting belonging and wanting connection.

And I think religion answers those questions for you or an attempt to truly soothe a wound.

Oh man, I would say that it led me to a place of true authenticity because I was so in it.

It answered all of the things that I, it made it very clear what I don't believe in and what I don't want to be immersed in and what I see as harmful tactics and what I feel is suppressing self-expression.

And I think that's a lot of what being a human is, is that you're asking, like, what do I believe in? Like, do I believe in this because my soul believes in it? Or do I believe in it because I'm with a group of people that, you know, have led me in the way that saying this is the only way to find peace?

I think that your body will tell you, and this is actually what happened to me a lot, is that when I know, and I think this is a great litmus test, if someone is feeling like they are not being their most, if you're in a situation and it's like, man, I'm feeling stifled in some way, I'm feeling suppressed in some way.
