Back To You, Bob!: A Dawson's Creek Podcast
Jun 10, 2026 · 1 hr 4 min · 12 segments
A special anthology episode where the gang gathers to swap ghost stories, each one creepier than the last.
Caroline MossGuestChristinaHostMicahHostWell, I'm gonna dive into the recap.
Cool.
Let's do it.
Episode Four Scary Stories opens on Pacey, Joey, and Jack walking into Grams' house from a horror movie, and they're grumbling that movies just aren't as scary as they used to be.
The conversation drifts as to whether Joey is even capable of being scared, and so J- Pacey and Jack rig an elaborate prank to prove that she is.
Joey tells them that she's actually been through something much scarier recently, and just like that, we're in vignette territory, and the whole episode becomes a string of individual stories with each character spinning their own scary tale.
So Joey is up first, and her tale takes us to Halloween night at the library on campus, where she decided to hunker down and work on a school project.
As the night wears on, she realizes a man is following her through the stacks.
Eventually, he reveals himself.
He's a cop working the library because a reported stalker is on the loose and a man attacking women.
So eventually, the librarian ends up trapping Joey down in the stacks, where they have a chase, and she's able to break away and free herself from the stalker.
Back in the present, Jack scoffs that Joey's story has nothing on his.
He flashes back to a recent night at the fraternity house.
While the rest of the brothers were out at formal, he and the other pledges were stuck behind cleaning up.
Poking around, they stumbled across an old vintage composite photo of their fraternity from decades earlier.
Then, alone in the house, he ran into a college-aged kid hiding in a closet, and the kid claimed that he was also pledged, but Jack doesn't recognize him.
As they talk, Jack picks up on the fact that the kid is gay and gently lets him know that that's okay, and they bond a little bit, but then the kid vanishes.
Jack drifts back to the old composite and realizes that the same student that he just spent the night with is in the picture, even though it's from decades in the past, a ghost long dead.
So then we go back to the present, and Pacey is up next, and he tells a story about how he and Karen were driving on a creepy country road somewhere out in rural Massachusetts when they flash their bright lights at an oncoming car.
Karen warned him that you're not supposed to do that, and sure enough, the car turns around and chases them.
They duck into a roadside diner that turns out to be its own brand of a nightmare, full of strange locals who feel a little off, too.
Pacey ends up blowing up at everybody in the diner, and when they go outside and they get back on the road, they find that the car that ran them off the road is also there.
When they work up the nerve to go back on the road, the car appears and runs them off.
When they confront the driver and open the car door, they realize that no one is inside, and there never was.
So back in the present, since Jen and Dawson are away in New Hampshire for the night during this episode, Grams comes in, and she says that she's here to tell a scary story on Jen's behalf.
Well, I'm gonna dive into the recap.
