I've got to appreciate the course.

You've got fantastic greens.

The fairways are in great shape.

But the strength of the course actually seems to be the greens to me.

And every hole is different.

Every green is different.

Very, very tricky slopes you've got on the greens.

And I had the pleasure of playing with Jeff Sutherland.

Okay, yeah.

And he actually pointed out something to me that I wasn't aware of.

He said, the design of the course, believe it or not, Scott, he said, every third hole is a hard hole.

And I went, how do you mean? What do you mean, Jeff? And Jeff said, OK, if you divide the course up into three whole sections, that's six sections, okay? And within those six sections, you've got six strokes, one to six.

And interestingly enough, I went away that evening and I actually had a look at the scorecard and what it's got for the men's, if you look at the scorecard, and this is actually very interesting because I don't know who, the course designer did an excellent job in actually the layout of the course and and the difficulty of the course.

So you start off hole 1, hole 2, 7, and 9.

OK, yeah, average handicapper, that's OK.

And then hole 3 is stroke 1, all right? Then you skip along to hole 6, that's stroke 3.

Remember, we've got six strokes here, right? And then you skip along to...

The 9th, that's stroke 5.

So his design is going to catch you out.

And then you go along to 12, and that's stroke 2.

And then you go along to 15.

Now, we'll leave 15 out for the time being, okay? But then you end up with 18 in that stroke four.
