Sorry to hear about that.
I haven't seen the new Spider-Man movie yet, but I hope that you enjoyed it.
Oh, hell yeah.
It was my second time watching it.
I really...
Honestly...
I mean, I don't know if you want to get into this now because we're supposed to be doing like a horror hangout, but like that's not a horror film, but it very much could have been because of the way that I don't want to spoil it because of the way that the villain of that movie does things.
It could have easily been a horror film.
And it really reinforces to me how Marvel could have made a really good horror film if they really wanted to.
Now, I know they did Werewolf by Night or whatever, but they could have really done a good horror film if they wanted to.
there is plenty of room to do horror storytelling in that kind of universe.
X-Men kind of did it with that What was that terrible movie? It had Anya Taylor-Joy and the girl from Game of Thrones in it.
Anyway, X-Men kind of did it a little bit, but really good horror ideas could be utilized and brought to life if they wanted to, because this movie could have easily been a horror film if they kind of ratcheted up the tension a little bit more.
I didn't see it, but Marvel did do that animated limited series like Marvel.
Oh,
zombies.
Yeah, they did do that.
They did do that.
But even that wasn't very scary.
That's more action forward than scary.
They could, if they wanted to do a real legitimate scary movie, if they really wanted to.
They just don't have the appetite for it.
We'll see what DC does with Clayface, because if that is successful, maybe Marvel will kind of start playing with it.
But I'm still upset with Marvel for letting Blade die, because that was their entryway to horror.
