Yeah, I think I also, it was funny when you talked about seeing it on TV.
I was like, yeah, Aliens and Alien 3, both I have memories of seeing bits of them on TV as a kid.
Because obviously my dad would always stop to watch it whenever we're flipping channels in the afternoon, you know? Um, and the scene in aliens where, um, Ripley is locked in the room with the two face huggers is like remains to be the scene that I still, I have seen that movie 20 times and I still, that scene still makes me, physically like cringe to the point of like having to look away from the screen like i've seen
in that movie yeah yeah and i've
seen that particular scene and i've seen every kind of horror movie brooker knows this you can see from my page like you can't i'm not shy but like that that particular scene still fucking gets me And that's Ridley Scott's creation.
That goes back to, in Alien, the entire facehugger is a bunch of organic material.
I think they made it from a bunch of oysters and clams and stuff.
Oh,
really? All this sounds delightful.
I would love to eat it.
Apparently it's stunk to have it on set.
As you can imagine, having all that stuff under the film set lights.
But yeah, it's such a unique creature that still inspires absolute terror within me.
After 40 years.
Before we move this, It makes me wish that James Cameron would do more horror because I contend that the Terminator is a horror movie.
Yes, Terminator is a slasher movie.
It's a horror
movie.
And that scene in Aliens is so tense.
Like he knows what he's doing.
He could do horror if he wanted to and do it at a very high level.
He just never kind of returned to that.
And I wish that he would, because he, he could do some really interesting things.
He just likes,
he just likes big guns.
