Good afternoon everybody and welcome to our webinar on using and understanding the OSTROADS guide to temporary traffic management for traffic management designers.

I'm a communications officer at OSTROADS and I will moderate today's session alongside Peter Bilton and Patsy Thomas who will moderate the Q&A session of today's presentation.

I'd like to start by acknowledging the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the custodians of the land from which we are broadcasting today.

We are in Melbourne, and so I'm on the lands of the Wurundjeri and Bunurong peoples of the Eastern Kulin nations.

I pay my respects to the elders past, present and emerging, and to their deep and ongoing connection to the land.

I would also like to acknowledge the Treaty of Waitangi and Māori as the original people of New Zealand.

Austroads is a collective of Australasian road transport and transport agencies.

Our focus is to deliver an improved road and transport network for our members.

Today's presenters will speak for around 40 minutes and then we'll have a Q&A session for 15 minutes.

The slides for this webinar can be downloaded from the handout section of your sidebar, which you'll find on the right hand side of your screen.

To send us your questions for the Q&A, please use the question tab in your sidebar.

If your question relates to any particular slide, include the number of that slide in your message,

We're just trying to get an idea of who the audience is today so that we can better cater the presentation to you.

Also, let us know if you have any technical problems, but just a quick tip, if you lose sound or your picture freezes, the issue is most likely with your connection.

Closing your browser and rejoining the session via your email registration usually helps.

This session is being recorded and we will let you know when the recording is available on our website.
